Call Point support
Your questions, answered.
Find out how Call Point helps teams raise engineering calls, share updates and follow work through to handback.
What is Call Point?
Call Point is a digital way for production teams to report issues, pass useful details to Engineering and keep track of each call through to completion.
Who can use Call Point?
Operators can raise calls, Engineering can view and respond to them, and team leaders can see open calls. Access can be set up around the roles used at your site.
How do I raise a call?
Select the relevant production area, line and location, describe the issue, then complete the checks configured for that area before submitting the call.
Can pre-engineering checks differ by area?
Yes. Checks can be configured for different areas, so the relevant checks are shown with the call.
How can the team see a call’s progress?
Open calls can be viewed by factory area, including their status. Engineering can acknowledge calls and update them as work progresses.
What information is recorded when work is completed?
The completion record can include the work carried out, parts changed, work order details, whether the pre-checks were completed, and any temporary repair or follow-up action.
Does Call Point connect to our existing maintenance system?
Call Point can record work order details against a call. Automatic connection to another maintenance system depends on the setup available for your site.
What packages are available?
The current options are Basic, Intermediate, Advanced and Custom. Contact us to discuss what each option includes and which might suit your site.
How do I find out about pricing?
Send us an enquiry with a few details about your site and the package you’re interested in, and we can talk through the options.
